From a joke to a movement
Honestly, Feral Summer Club started as a running joke between us. Tara had just lost her job, Angie is a stay-at-home mom, and Tara has a completely wild toddler – a perfect recipe for what we jokingly called the most “reckless & feral summer” imaginable. What began as funny texts and memes quickly evolved into a realization of how truly relatable this experience was for moms everywhere.
We saw a gap in the market; no brand genuinely captured the chaos, humor, freedom, exhaustion, fun, and adventure of real motherhood. Everything felt either too polished, too serious, or too "perfect mom." We craved something authentic – messy buns, iced coffee, road trips, loud music, pool days, matching tees, spontaneous adventures, and simply trying to survive summer with your sanity intact. The more we joked, the more it became clear this was a whole vibe and a community we knew other moms would deeply connect with.
